Cape Town: a wealth of nature, history and culture

This full-day tour explores Cape Town’s highlights, starting with panoramic views from Table Mountain or Signal Hill. The journey continues along the Atlantic Seaboard, passing Camps Bay and Clifton. History and culture come to life with visits to the Castle of Good Hope, District Six, and the colourful Bo-Kaap. A stop at a popular café for lunch and a stroll through the Company’s Garden completes the experience before returning to the hotel, with optional dinner recommendations. The day will start with a journey up Table Mountain, one of Cape Town’s most iconic natural wonders. From the summit, you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the city and the Atlantic Ocean—a panorama that will leave you speechless. As a symbol of Cape Town, visible from every corner of the city, Table Mountain offers the perfect vantage point to admire the region’s incredible natural beauty and discover its unique wildlife. Access to the cableway depends on weather conditions. Should the cableway be closed, the tour will begin at Signal Hill, a viewpoint often considered Cape Town’s "live map," offering stunning panoramic views of the city. We will continue our journey along the Atlantic Seaboard, exploring the scenic districts of Camps Bay, Clifton, and Sea Point. These charming coastal neighbourhoods boast spectacular ocean views, pristine white beaches, and a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere. We will make several stops to fully soak in these unique locations, and we’ll have the chance to take a short stroll along Sea Point Promenade, an area that perfectly embodies Cape Town’s outdoor lifestyle. As the morning comes to an end, we will explore the origins and history of Cape Town with an exterior visit to the Castle of Good Hope, the city's oldest colonial building. From there, we will continue to the Old Town Hall, where an engaging permanent exhibition traces the birth and evolution of the city. Another fascinating highlight is the permanent Nelson Mandela exhibition, which offers a deeper insight into his legacy and the fight for freedom in South Africa. For lunch, we will stop in the city centre at a trendy and popular café. In the afternoon, we will continue to uncover some of Cape Town’s most significant historical and cultural landmarks. A drive through District Six will reveal a poignant chapter of the city’s past, a place marked by the forced removals during the apartheid era. From there, we will head to the vibrant and colourful Bo-Kaap neighbourhood, where the brightly painted houses and Cape Malay heritage create an unforgettable setting. Our exploration of the city’s history will continue with a visit to the ever-bustling Flower Market and a walk through the tranquil Company’s Garden, the city’s green heart. This beautiful space is surrounded by some of Cape Town’s most important buildings, including the Houses of Parliament, St. George’s Cathedral, and the Supreme Court, each telling a different piece of the city’s story. By the end of the day, you will not only have discovered Cape Town’s hidden treasures but also experienced a sensory journey through its natural beauty, history, culture, and social landscape. You will be dropped off at your hotel, and as part of our concierge service, before saying goodbye, we will be happy to recommend a fantastic restaurant for your evening dinner.

Beyond Cape Town: The West Coast

Wild, raw, and unexpectedly rich, South Africa’s West Coast reveals a landscape of vibrant biodiversity, historic fishing villages, and local cuisine loved by those who know where to go. For a brief moment each year, the flower season transforms the West Coast National Park into a spectacular canvas of gold, purple, and fiery orange — an experience few ever forget. This journey features iconic views of Table Mountain from Big Bay and Bloubergstrand, the white dunes of Atlantis with optional adventure activities, like quadbiking or sand boarding a visit to Darling and its famous brewery and the breathtaking beauty of the West Coast National Park in full bloom (Augustr & September only). After breakfast, the journey begins toward the West Coast,  a true hidden gem that once again reveals the extraordinary diversity of South Africa’s flora. While the Cape Peninsula is characterised by dense vegetation and the Winelands by lush, fertile landscapes, the West Coast presents itself as a striking semi-desert terrain, subtle, raw, and unexpectedly rich. Along the way, we make a short stop at Lagoon Beach, a coastal suburb offering postcard-perfect views of Table Mountain rising in the distance — a classic and iconic perspective. By 10:00, we arrive at the dazzling white dunes of the Atlantis micro-desert, an otherworldly landscape of pure sand and light. Accompanied by your guide, you’ll enjoy a gentle walk of approximately 30 minutes, allowing time to fully absorb the beauty of this unique natural setting. Optional activities such as quad biking or sandboarding can be arranged in advance upon request. We then visit the charming village of Darling, known for its creative spirit, local culture, and relaxed West Coast atmosphere. Here, there is time to enjoy lunch and an optional beer tasting at Darling Brewery — a favourite among locals for its craft beers inspired by the region. (Lunch and beer tasting not included.) The day concludes with a visit to the West Coast National Park, home to one of the most beautiful coastal wetlands in the country. The park is internationally renowned for its spectacular spring flower displays and for hosting over 250 species of birds. Before leaving, a final stop at the park’s focal point — the turquoise waters of Langebaan Lagoon — provides a breathtaking finale to this unforgettable journey.
