About Me

Hi. My name is Vannette and I am a registered Tour Guide and Educational Fascilitator. I engage in guided tours for small groups with my vehicle and can be booked as a freelance guide for larger bus sized groups from primary school learners to local and overseas guests. My tours are honed in on personal preferences of the guests and tailored to the experiences they seek. I largely concentrate on historical and cultural experiences with the winelands as part of the drive - but the diversity we have in South Africa and especially the Western Cape, can easily include bird watching, national parks, architecture or arts. The possibilities of sites to visit are endless.

Standard Tours

Bo Kaap to Boulders Beach

Cape Town's diverse history, culture and nature are intertwined. After pick-up, we drive through the picturesque Bo Kaap to explore the architecture, art, food and history that make this one of the number 1 tourist destinations. From here we meander over Kloof Nek, and along the most beautiful stretch of coastline along Clifton towards Hout Bay. Weather permitting, we will drive along the iconic Chapman's Peak towards Simons Town and Boulder Beach, where you can then meet our endangered African Penguins. Weather and time permitting, you could swim with them at the secluded Boulder Beach. Meals, drinks and entrance are for your own pocket. (Water and a light snack will be available in transit) Hereafter, we will double back to the pick-up and drop-off point. Spice Route

Historically, Cape Town played a pivotal role in the Spice Route. In the Paarl is a one-stop experience on a farm that has stood there since 1693. The towering oak trees and beautiful garden, slope up to the old manor house and buildings, where you can now experience wine tasting, beer tasting, chocolate, fudge and ice cream tastings, apararif or even tea tastings. To top off this delectable day, you can sit under the age-old trees and have a German-inspired meal or visit any of the other restaurant areas. It's a lazy day, fill your tummy day, "buy a few gifts as souvenirs"-day.

Fabulous Franschoek

Franschhoek is one of the top wine production and tasting destinations. There are many wine farms to choose from, as well as beer tastings. Franschhoek is a little piece of France in the heart of the Western Cape with charming shops and sidewalk restaurants. We plan, travel and experience a glimpse of this beautiful place, to suit your preferences for the day. The day can be filled with any three experiences, which could include wine or beer tastings, a visit to the Franschhoek Motor Museum, owned by billionaire Johann Rupert, the Huguenot Museum, Restaurants, a chocolatier, book shops, gift shops and coffee shops.
