3 day real African Safari departing Cape Town

Day 1 We leave the Mother City, Cape Town at the break of dawn. Our journey takes us north-east over mountains, along wine farms and on the Route 62 to the charming town of Oudtshoorn, situated in the Klein Karoo. Oudtshoorn is home to South Africa’s ostrich farm industry and the world-famous Cango Cave. After our lunch and spotting the hippopotamuses, we are ready for our first bush Safari. You can expect to experience true Karoo vegetation from our open game viewing vehicles. Our wide range of animals includes Hippo, Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Buffalo, Springbok and much more. The duration of our bush safaris is ± 2 hours. About midway through the safari, there is a refreshment break at one of our scenic lookout points. These offer 360° panoramic views of the area as well as the Swartberg Mountains. Dinner at the dam. Day 2 Before breakfast our morning Bush Safari awaits, in search of the Rhinoceros, Giraffe, Eland, Zebra, Buffalo, Springbok,… After breakfast, we drive towards the Swartberg Mountains, for our guided visit at the renowned Cango Caves. The 20 million year-old Cango Caves system consists of a series of hidden chambers cut deep into a thick limestone rock layer. We return to the dam for lunch, followed by our Elephant experience. Optional * (R650 pp) followed by a lion experience. Where a trained game ranger will feed the lions while guests view them. It is advisable to have a camera at hand. Furthermore, the game ranger will fully inform the guests regarding important aspects of lions in general. Dinner at the dam. Day 3 After a peaceful night in the Klein Karroo and a buffet breakfast, we start our trip via the Route 62 back to Cape Town. But our trip hasn’t come to an end yet. Our route takes us via Ronnie Sex Shop and mountain passes to the coast. Our trails winds us to Stoney Point, for lunch and a visit of the real penguin colony of South Africa. Via the scenic Whale Route we conclude our trip back in the Mother City, Cape Town. 3 DAYS, 2 NIGHTS - COUNTRY, WINE, KLEIN KAROO

Day 1 We leave the Mother City via the coastal Whale Route, our first stop towards the famous whale watching town of Hermanus, is at Stoney Point, for a visit of the real penguin colony. If it is whale watching season, we certainly hope to catch a more than just a glimpse of these incredible animals from different vantage points. You’ll also get to meet the well-known whale caller of Walker Bay. Our journey then takes us north-east to one of the Cape’s largest wine and farm regions. Enjoy a bottle of wine on the viewing deck after as you look over the town Montagu and enjoy the mountains. Optional; While we light the fire and prepare a traditional South African Braai. You’ll love this location! Day 2 The Robertson Wine Valley, is good for almost 20% of the total wine production in South Africa and is the home of multiple award winning wineries. After a continental breakfast we leave on a full day wine tasting tour. We will show you the whole process form grape to wine, with in-cellar walks, we will even explain the art of wine blending and have you create your own personal bottled blend. A river cruise and lunch pick-nick is additional available upon request. To stay in the wine spirit, we are serving fondue Bourguignonne, a Oil fondue, where diners cook their food in hot oil. The legend goes that vineyard workers in the region of Burgundy would come in for meals at different times, which meant it was difficult to have a hot meal ready for everyone. Day 3 After a peaceful night in the Klein Karroo and a buffet breakfast, we start our trip via the Cape winelands back to Cape Town. But our trip hasn’t come to an end yet. Our route takes us via vineyards, farmlands and mountain passes to Fransschoek. Our trails winds through flowers and wildlife at Mont Rochelle Nature Reserve with views over Franschhoek Valley. The Huguenot Memorial Museum and neighbouring monument in honour of the area’s French settlers, who arrived in the 17th and 18th centuries.
